All Tai Chi and Chi Kung practice to be carried out in a safe, and friendly learning environment under qualified and competent tuition and guidance. Tai Chi and Chi Kung are not aerobic exercises, but do provide a full- body work out. All muscles groups are worked, strengthened and developed in a slow controlled manner.
An informative meeting for interested people of all ages and diversity to openly discuss the many questions that they may have in order to understand exactly what Tai Chi is all about.

All group members must observe the Wirral Multicultural Organisation guidelines regarding health and safety procedures in the Building.
Self-Assess* personal health before attending group practice.

Introductions for the above guide lines will be explained to all members at a group Safety Induction and reinforced at the start of each group session.

Demonstration Narrative Given in a free and friendly atmosphere built on a mutual respect and courtesy. To improve the performance and wellbeing of individuals and the group as a whole.
Learning. Is an individual concept and new members are not pressed to complete Tai Chi forms or Chi Kung sets in a required time and are not under any obligation.
Understanding. Time is given during practice times to answer questions.
Respite. Individuals needing to retire and sit during practice can do so without asking.
Progression in Tai Chi. Individuals can gain more experience through Mixed group practice.
Group social membership. Joining in group dinners and friendly events.

In the event of a Tai Chi group being cancelled by the Wirral Multicultural Organisation due to unforeseen circumstances or the Tai Chi group due to illness, every effort will be made to contact members by email, texting, messenger, phone or correspondence.
It is therefore necessary to supply the necessary contact details about yourself on an induction form which is kept private and with your permission.
All members and people photographed have given consent for their image to be used as promotional material for the Wirral Traditional Tai Chi website.
Every effort is made to adhere to the principles of safeguarding group members and working within the community and organisations to respond in the least intrusive manner that is appropriate.

The Tai Chi group promotes wellbeing and demonstrates where appropriate regards to views wishes, feelings and beliefs of other members. New beginners who may be ambivalent about their own personal circumstances taking their views into account.
Every group member is entitled to their health, human rights and to live free from any physical and mental harm or neglect, these are essential principles fundamental to maintain a personal healthy social care and quality of life.
